DAY 1: CLEANSE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT

Good skin starts with good routine. Throughout the day, your skin builds oil, if not properly cleansed, this will cause your skin will age faster and be more prone to breakouts. We know, some nights, after a long day, the last thing you want to do is wash your face... but trust us, it’s worth it!

 

DAY 2: DRINK WATER AND STAY HYDRATED

Hydrated Skin = Healthy Skin. While this does seem simple, drink more water! Hydration is essential in ensuring proper organ function, including the biggest organ of all, your skin. DAY 3: CATCH UP ON YOUR BEAUTY SLEEP

Make a schedule for yourself to help ease stress, start a sleep ritual about an hour before bed each night (this could be anything relaxing – meditation, reading, stretching). DAY 4: MAJOR CLEAN-UP OF ANYTHING THAT YOUR FACE TOUCHES

Washing call, everything in! The number one cause of acne is bacteria. High touch areas, including sheets, makeup brushes and more are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and built-up dead skin. So, time to do a full clean. Throw your sheets, pillowcases and sleep masks in the wash. Disinfect your phone, scrub your makeup brushes!

 

DAY 5: GIVE YOUR SKIN A DAY OFF

Regular exercise has been shown to hold potential to give people aged in their 40s the same quality of skin they had in their 20s and 30s. We’re not saying to start training for the next marathon, start small but stay consistent. Schedule a jog every couple of days, hit up the gym or try something new like Pilates or yoga class.
